I needed a light tripod to take on hikes and this one fit the bill fine. It's nothing great and it may not last as long as I'd like, but so far it's been fine. It's sturdy enough and easy to use. I'm concerned that the moving parts, because they're plastic, will break. I've taken it on two fairly gruely trips and it's done fine. For the price, I think it's a good tripod.

It's exactly what I was looking for without the $60 price. It's not super light or super heavy, its perfect for any occasion I think.

well it looks nice, feels pretty nice too. I like the fact that it's both horiz/vert :) the only thing is that my camera alone is too heavy for it, of course if you're maneuvering it, works like a champ, but you do struggle a bit because it seems to get stuck :/. Defintely happy for now but will be searching for a more stable one in the future. I just cant risk my camera to fall, therefore i gave this product a 3. A star for appearance, the horizontal/vertical feature, and the way it holds itself overall, but honestly i think i'm just being too nice. (oh p.s. & it could have been cheaper)
