I bought this dart board to replace an old cork one found in the basement and what a difference. The board is of pretty decent quality, and weve been using it now for about a month without any problems. Im sure that you could invest in a more expensive one and it might make a difference, but this one is perfect for use in a games room casually. My only complaint is that the darts on occasion will glance off the rings and fall away from the board, maybe 1 in 30 throws so it isnt really a huge deal. Im happy with the board and look forward to filling it with plenty more holes (:

This board was surprisingly well made. The thickness alone is evidence to it great craftsmanship. The metal rails are so durable that they will deflect any lame throws tossed its way. If your not playing over carpet and your darts are expensivly charished then that might be the only downfall.

Packing had been gnawed by rodents on arrival. Know that this isn't the direct responsibility, but the dessicant packets that had self destructed (or knawed by rodents)had me vacuuming the living room till the wee hours. Parts of dessicant packing are still all over the floor. The board is good, and had the ruggedness of metal indicators. but attaching the bumpers to the back is kind of fiddly, and the tiny nails are easily lost. Difficult installation, but funcions perfectly.
