I've only had this weather station for a week, but I already love it. Very easy to use. Had it setup in a couple of minutes. Sensor reception is excellent. I mounted the sensor on the back wall of our house next to a window. The station is located on the lowest level of our house (partially underground) with several walls between it and the sensor and they work perfect. The unit has an excellent back light that is orange in color like a midsummer sunset and illuminates the entire screen well.

The only slight disappointment for me is the poor reception for the Atomic clock signal. I am located on the east coast in eastern PA and with the unit in the lower level of the house on the east side, it just doesn't receive the signal. Not a huge deal, I just set the clock manually. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a well rounded unit that provides a nice amount of data for a great price.

3.0 out of 5 stars Unsure right now, display hard to read--may raise (or lower) the rating later!, June 19, 2010

The good news:

1. Accurate outdoor sensor.

Put it next to base unit and both show almost the same temperature and humidity. The humidity reading fluctuates more on the sensor, but it's only been 3-4 points off at maximum, often much less, only a point or two. The temperature reading is just about spot on--almost identical or less than a degree difference. As another reviewer noted, your outdoor sensor may or may not be as good as ours (although we now have a N of 2). Note also: this is just testing inside with the sensor sitting next to the base.

2. Large numbers for outdoor temperature and humidity.

3. Solidly built.

4. Amber backlight is great; vivid, clear.

5. Temp-humidity screen on outdoor sensor.

6. Generally good layout of information on the screen.

7. Reset of the min/max every 24 hours (according to the specs). This spares the owner from having to manually reset it to monitor... Read more

Bought this a couple months ago to replace an older model that had stopped working. Was very pleased that it picked up my additional 2 transmitters and started reading all 3 almost immediately, Very pleased so far,
